For more than ninety years, the RAS/Obrecht Synagogue has played an important role in Amsterdam South. Not only as a synagogue and a symbol of Jewish life, but also as an architectural highlight and a landmark in the surrounding area.

Many recognize the importance of this synagogue and support the RAS with large or small donations—whether one-time, ongoing, or through a legacy. It is of course also possible to give with a specific purpose in mind, such as children’s activities, preservation of the building, or the purchase of new prayer books or tallitot. Everyone gives from their own motivation, but all with the same goal: preserving the RAS, and with it, one of the most beautiful synagogues in Amsterdam.
