Nearly a century at the heart of Jewish life in Amsterdam
The Raw Aron Schuster Synagogue (RAS), also known as the Obrecht Synagogue, has been a home for Amsterdam’s Jewish community for almost a century. Located in a monumental building in Amsterdam South, the synagogue has played a central role in the religious and social life of many generations.
Our community strives for a warm, open, and contemporary Orthodox Jewish life. Everyone is welcome to participate, to learn, and to deepen their spirituality within a trusted halachic environment.
RAS sjoeldiensten op Rosj Hashana en Jom Kippoer
Wij vragen uw aandacht voor de volgende mededeling met betrekking tot de diensten van de Hoge Feestdagen.
Eenieder is van harte welkom bij alle diensten tijdens de hoge feestdagen.
Echter, vanwege de veiligheid dienen de bezoekers die geen lid zijn van de RAS sjoel noch van de NIHS of geen gereserveerde zitplaats hebben, zich tijdig aan te melden voor de diensten van Rosj Hasjana en Jom Kippoer.
Voor toegang tot de RAS sjoel en eventueel reserveren van plaatsen voor de feestdagen gelieve een e-mail naar info@rassjoel.nl te sturen om te laten weten bij welke diensten u aanwezig wilt zijn.

Expats and foreign visitors being in Amsterdam during the high holidays are welcome to attend services.
Due to security requirements, it is mandatory to register which services you intend to attend by sending an email to info@rassjoel.nl with a copy of an passport/ID and some background information.
